Books

The Mortal Instruments Series
By Casandra Clare

I really, really liked these books. If you have a problem with demons then I'd not encourage you to read them. Just a warning.

Well, here I am...

I don't have any pictures to post or anything really exciting to say. Now you're all pumped up to read the rest of this aren't you!

I started college last week. I'm taking four classes this semester to get my feet wet and get back into things. I'm taking English 2010, Math 0950, Geo 1010 and Art 1400 which is my Computer Applications class. It's my most fun class so far. We're learning Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign and we'll have three big projects, one for each application. I'm really looking forward to getting started. The first project is for Illustrator and it's an art deco poster for an event of our choosing. Can't wait!!!

As you may remember I have serious issues with math, especially Algebra. It's like my life long nemisis. In a previous life I must have died of Algebra overdose or something. Anyway, my Math 0950 class isn't so bad (knock on wood). I have class 5 days a week but all my homework and tests are online. It's really cool because almost every problem has at least three helpful options. I'm learning this so much better now. It probably has to do with being older and having more patience for really sitting still and thinking things through, and the internet help is really awesome!

That's really all for now. I'm looking for a job that will work around my weird class schedule this semester and I'm currently fighting another cold. Life is sooo interesting!

Love you all!!!

HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE!

Some cool stuff I'm into!

I'm totally into a few things right now and thought I'd share... I watch this every night before I go to bed. Well, I don't watch it, I just turn it on while I read. I am hoping that Mr. Darcy somehow makes it into my subconscious and ends up in my dreams. So far it's a no go, but a girl can always dream!
I don't drink caffeine anymore as some of you may know, so mornings can be a real bear for me. I recently discovered this gum though and let me tell ya! The first chew is like "ZING!!!" and I'm wide awake! It's called Positively Pomegranate.

Totally into this series and I'm now reading book 2. Really good! If you haven't read it do! You'll love it.

I don't drink it for my skin. I drink it 'cause it's yummy. I think the positively pomegranate gum above has gotten be in the mood for pomegranate anything.

Yeah, so I'm hooked on genealogy again. At least until my free membership expires! *grim*

Look What I Found

I was going through some old pictures and I found this picture of Lisa Cobb and I in Bolivia. Isn't it a blast! I remember getting this taken. It was at that amusement park in La Paz. The one with the giant slide that we slid down on burlap sacks!

I'm Back!!

Yep my computer is finally fixed so I'm back on blogger! I start my new job on Monday doing Customer Service for a law firm for all those poor people who've lost their homes in this rotten economy. It's at times like these I'm glad I don't own a home. It's a job though and I'm not complaining.

My roommate and BFF was in a car accident yesterday on her way home from work. She even made the news, but we didn't get to see it as we were parked in the ER. A teenager in a brand new car crossed into Deb's lane hitting Deb's car and causing her to spin, go off the road into a ditch and hit trees. She's ok, a little black and blue but fine. Her car on the other hand is totalled.

Oh, the picture is of me with my new haircut. It's way short but I like it.
